Corp Reporting - CRM - Handles new embedded Crystal Reports
Now in V2.02 of CRM, the Crystal Report previewer is embedded in CRM rather than an external interface. This makes it so the report does not go to the background after executing the report and the program now always has complete focus. Available in the 2.02 build of CRM.

EPI - Lodgenet would suppress transactions but not total
The Lodgenet TV Display interface would suppress non-incidental folios but still include it in the balance total at the top of the screen. Also added new "/HIDEONLYA" option on the Special Formula field, so only the "A" sub-folio will be hidden for guests who's rate should be hidden (TA/Groups/Direct Bills) and all other sub-folios will be displayed, regardless of what is set as the incidental folio.

EPI - Posting file name limited to 20 characters
When selecting "FILE" as a posting source type in EPI, the file being read was limited to 20 characters, even though the configuration file name could be 80 characters. This would cause the system to not find the specified file. Solution was to move the file and only read directly from within the roomMaster 2000 directory.

When using the Availability Breakdown screen on the F4-Availability screen, inhouse shares are counted as inhouse rooms causing the inhouse count to be doubled.

Main System - General Occupancy Percent corrections
Unavailable rooms are sometimes calculated using the numerator instead of the denominator on different screens and reports. This only affects users who ignore Unavailable rooms in occupancy percent. All screens and reports have been changed/corrected with a consistant method of calculating the occupancy percent, deducting unavailable rooms from the denominator.

Main System - Verify Reservation Cancel On Delete
Changed reservation Insert / Cancel procedure to verify record position before attemping delete of record. This will ensure the proper record is always in place before removing it. We've attempted many scenerios to duplicate this error and was never able to make it occur, but this code will make the function 100% safe. The change may have no effect however, it does ensure the stability and integrity of the reservation file.

Payment Application - Ability to scan card in main Terminal Screen
Enhancement: Added ability for user to scan a credit card within the main terminal screen without having to press the Payment button. If the Special Account Assignments are setup for POS, then the system will automatically proceed to payment with the right account code.

Enhancement: When a user logs into the POS terminal using the "Touch to Logon" button, the user is prompted when closing down the POS if they wish to shut-down the Windows Operating System as well, which makes it easier when closing down at night on touchscreen terminals.

POS - POS Dayend Close Reworked
The POS Dayend Close process has been completely rewritten and reworked. The new process updates all inventory and posting files at once rather than many times through the process making the dayend run much faster with much less file I/O. This also makes the system much safer if there are failures on the network during the process.

1. The Arrivals, Stayover and Departures Report counts inhouse shares as an inhouse room, causing the total rooms sold to be duplicated. 2. Pending Status reservations did not appear anywhere on this report. 3. Arrivals for today, who have already checked in (or walkins) would not appear as Arrivals in the report.

rm.Net - Shopping cart voucher parameter not passed
1. When a reservation or daily charge can be selected for more than one single day, the voucher would not pass into the Daily Charge record. 2. The Daily Charge voucher entry field in roomMaster had a maximum of 20 characters for entry instead of 30 characters. 3. Dates being selected could be entered incorrectly. 4. Shopping cart functions also rewritten to be more efficient. All these corrections are in this version of roomMaster 2000 plus roomMaster.net must be at version 4.02 or higher.
