EPI - EPI can now be allowed to open multiple times Enhancement: There are some sites which run multiple copies of EPI on the same workstation because they are managing multiple properties from the same phone connection. As of Version 11, you could not open EPI more than once. A Registry Key entry has been added (see Advanced Topics in the Online Help) to allow EPI to open more than once on the same workstation.

POS - Closing Shifts now checks if Tips were processed Enhancement: Before closing a shift (assigning transactions to a shift), Tips are checked to make sure they are all Declared, as indicated on the TipOut setting on Global Settings. In addition, the "Be sure Tips are declared before Dayend Close" has been enhanced to allow a "Never, Only Warning, Require" option so you can set whether or not this option is Mandatory rather than just a Warning. We suggest that this setting is always set to Mandatory for proper accounting.

POS - Declaring tips ignores Outlet or Shift settings Enhancement: Declaring tips now supports POS Shifts and Outlets. Meaning, Tips processed under a certain Shift (breakfast, lunch, dinner) as well as different Outlets are displayed and available seperately. If an employee is working two different outlets, at the same time, their Tip outs will be on the Outlet level rather than combined.

POS - POS Check Numbers not being cleared If the auditor received a warning that POS dayend close was not completed, and continued with the audit, the check numbers of the POS would be reset back to 1. This would cause duplicate and combined checks in the POS on the following day. The check numbers are no longer reset back to 1 during the audit if a POS Dayend has not been completed. In addition, if POS Dayend close has completed, and a night audit is being run, then any checks placed on hold would be removed/deleted from the system to avoid duplicate check numbers and confusion. See new setting in Global Options to Require POS Dayend Close prior to running the night audit in roomMaster 2000.

POS - Print Manager may not print delayed items properly Change: When items are entered into the POS, the entry time was the actual entry time when the user is pressing the button. If the items were placed on a hold-delay, then the items would not drop at the same time because the items were not actually entered at the exact same second. A change has been made that all items entered on an order reflect the same time of the first entered item since the check was started or being pulled from being held.
